build ebay store using ebay wordpress plugin

Monday, November 24th, 2008

Building eBay store is great for affiliate marketing. It has been consistent and has proved itself as being quite reliable. The problem for using the ebay affiliate is that when using a wordpress blog, there are no many programs that would show live auctions into a blog post format.

This problem has been existed for a lont time, and then I thought to make a word press plugin that would do this job. But I can be very lazy sometime when it comes to doing programming. I just don’t waste the time to programming anything software. One of my weakness …

So, for a long period, I just connect directly to eBay store pages from all my sites. But that process is very boring. It need going to eBay and looking for what I am searching for, copy that URL and pasting it into the eBay re-direct tool. Which would spit out an affiliate URL. I then copy that URL and put it on my site in a particular directory that I would link to via my web pages. That is a lot of work

Well, a few months, I found a slick little plugin called Bay RSS. This ebay wordpress plugin lets the ebay affiliate site owner to take live auctions into word press blog posts. The Bay RSS plguin works off of keywords which look in eBay and take in auctions that meet the keyword criteria provided.

Another good thing about this ebay plugin is after you set it up using your PID and amazons tracking code it is done. You can just make RSS feeds to your website content. These are live ebay auctions with your ebay affiliate id included into the link that changes each time the post is opened. I love this eaby plugin. I can make a blog with my current web hosting and customize it into a website and create a group of keyword pages using eBay live auctions. The ebay plugin also let you drilling into niche categories and it can take in auctions from international eBay sites.
